Day 1: Kampala/Zziwa to Murchison Falls National Park.
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup at 6:00 am from Kampala, followed by a scenic drive north through Uganda’s countryside. You will stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience, seeing these rare animals up close. After the sanctuary visit, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on an evening game drive, exploring the park’s open savannahs and riverine forests. Look out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, Uganda kob, and possibly lions as the sun sets over the plains. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:Morning Game Drive, Lunch, and Nile Boat Cruise
Rise early for a morning game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, maximizing your chances to see predators and other wildlife in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before heading out for a boat cruise on the Nile at 2:00 pm. The cruise takes you close to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge, and provides excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous waterbirds. After the cruise, you can enjoy some swimming at the lodge, then return for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:Hiking to the Top of Murchison Falls, Canopy Walk, and Transfer Back to Kampala
On the final day, you will hike to the top of Murchison Falls, experiencing the roar of the Nile as it plunges into the gorge and enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Later, you can take part in optional activities such as a canopy walk or zip-lining, depending on availability. After a fulfilling morning, you will begin the drive back to Kampala, stopping for refreshments and photos along the way. You will arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon, concluding your 3-day Murchison Falls adventure with memories of dramatic waterfalls, wildlife encounters, and Uganda’s natural beauty.
