Your journey begins with a transfer to kasese and you will arrive in Rwenzori Mountains where you settle into a guesthouse run by the Bakonzo community. That evening, elders gather with you over a shared meal to tell stories of their farming traditions, the mountain spirits, and how the land shapes their way of life.

After breakfast, the day begins with a walk through the fertile fields of bananas, coffee, and vanilla. You will take part in pruning, harvesting, and processing, all while learning indigenous farming songs sung during planting seasons. After a hearty lunch of matoke and groundnut sauce, you join women weaving mats and baskets as children play nearby.

Day 3: Hiking the Foothills of the Rwenzori
Guides will lead you on a six-hour hike into the foothills, passing waterfalls and ridges that reveal breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks above.
