Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Drive to the Hotel

Arrive in Entebbe where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your luxury boutique hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the tropical gardens or at the pool. Later, enjoy a sunset dinner overlooking Lake Victoria before turning in for the night.

Day 2: Flight to Kisoro and Later Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, board your scenic flight to Kisoro (about 1 hour 15 minutes). Upon landing, meet your driver-guide for a short drive through the highlands to your luxury lodge nestled on the forest edge. After a welcome drink, settle into your suite with panoramic views of the mist-shrouded canopy. The afternoon is at leisure as you listen to the calls of distant primates. Dinner is a multi-course affair paired with fine wines.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. You’ll then set out with an expert ranger and a small group to track a family of mountain gorillas through the dense forest. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an experience of a lifetime. Return to the lodge for lunch and a soothing spa treatment. The evening is yours to relax by the fire or enjoy a dinner.

Day 4: Forest Walk and Relaxation

After a leisurely breakfast, set out for a guided Batwa cultural experience, where you’ll meet the Batwa, the indigenous forest people who once lived as hunters and gatherers within Bwindi’s dense jungles. During the visit, you’ll learn about their rich traditions, medicinal plant knowledge, and survival skills that kept them in harmony with the forest for centuries. You may also enjoy traditional songs, dances, and storytelling sessions that bring their heritage to life.
Return to your lodge in time for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Relax as you take in the forest’s misty vistas. As evening falls, enjoy a tranquil dinner by candlelight surrounded by the soothing sounds of the rainforest.

Day 5: Return Flight to Entebbe

After breakfast, drive back to Kisoro Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Check into a luxury lakeside hotel for your final night in Uganda. Spend the evening reflecting on your gorilla encounter as you enjoy your farewell dinner.
