Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel/ airport and begin the scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the landscapes of western Uganda and the stunning Kasese foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arriving at the park in the early afternoon, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s rolling savannahs, forested hills, and crater lakes. Keep your camera ready for sightings of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, and possibly lions as the golden light of sunset bathes the landscape. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2:Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Rise early for a morning game drive through the park, when animals are most active. You will explore the diverse habitats, including open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the scenic crater lakes, encountering herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and perhaps leopards or hyenas. After returning to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation, you will head out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 pm. The cruise offers an intimate view of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterbirds, while the riverbanks often attract elephants and buffaloes. After the cruise, you may have time for swimming at the lodge pool or simply enjoying the sunset over the water before dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala
On your final day, you will enjoy a morning game drive to catch any wildlife you may have missed earlier and to experience the park at its serene early-morning beauty. After the drive, you will check out of your lodge and begin the scenic drive back to Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch and photos of the stunning countryside. You will arrive in Kampala by the late afternoon, concluding your 3-day Queen Elizabeth Safari with memories of unforgettable wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes.
