Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi and Transfer to Lake Nakuru for Flamingos and Rhinos
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park, located approximately 3 hours away in the Great Rift Valley. On arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive along the shores of the lake, famous for its pink flamingos and also home to both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and more. After a scenic safari and sunset views over the lake, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave Nakuru behind as you travel south to the world-renowned Masai Mara. The drive offers beautiful countryside views and takes approximately 5 hours. Arrive in time for lunch and then head out on your first game drive in the Mara, where you’ll begin your search for Africa’s Big Five and experience the vastness of the open plains. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara for Big Cats & Wildlife Encounters
Spend the day on safari in the Masai Mara, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives across different habitats. From lion prides to cheetah chases and elephant herds crossing the plains, the Mara is bursting with life. If you visit during the migration season, you may witness dramatic river crossings or huge herds grazing. A picnic lunch is provided, giving you more time to explore the reserve. Day 4: More of Masai Mara for Optional Activities
Another day in the Mara gives you more opportunities for incredible wildlife viewing. You can opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Otherwise, morning and afternoon game drives will give you new chances to spot elusive animals like leopards or hyenas. Enjoy the serene African evening back at camp.

Day 5: Drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi to End the Trip
After breakfast and a short early morning game drive, begin your return journey to Nairobi. Arrive in the late afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari adventure.
