This 4-day Murchison safari will give you a chance to experience the roar of the falls as the whole of river Nile waters fights to squeeze through a narrow 8-meter space creating a heavenly rainbow above the falls. Murchison Falls National Park is the largest national park in Uganda with an area of 3840 km2. The river Nile divides the park into north and south sectors and forms falls where it flows over the western rift valley escarpment. The river is forced through a 6-meter gap in the rocks and cascades into a boiling pot 40 meters below. A boat cruise upstream to the falls provides an unforgettable experience. There are over 400 bird species in the park and over 70 species of wildlife. On this 4-day safari, you will also visit Budongo forest where you will have an amazing day trekking chimpanzees in the wild and also visit the community.
