Day 1: Arrival and Cultural Welcome in Masindi
Your journey begins from Kampala and takes you to Masindi, the heartland of the Bunyoro Kingdom. You settle into a simple but comfortable community guesthouse and are welcomed by drummers and dancers who bring to life the rhythms of Bunyoro heritage. Dinner is served with local delicacies, and elders sit with you to narrate the history of the kingdom, its struggles, and its role in Uganda’s cultural fabric.

Day 2: Experiencing Traditional Farming
The day opens in nearby farms where you will join families in grinding millet, peeling cassava, and harvesting honey from traditional hives. Women show you how they prepare local dishes, and you enjoy a hearty meal under the shade of mango trees. In the afternoon, you wander through the local market, where traders display fresh produce, baskets, and crafts, immersing yourself in the heartbeat of Bunyoro daily life.

Day 3: Exploring Budongo Forest
Early in the morning, you enter Budongo Forest with community rangers. The air is thick with birdsong and the movement of primates in the canopy. You walk for several hours, spotting colobus monkeys and Chimpanzees while learning about forest conservation. Later, you visit the ranger station where stories of conservation challenges and victories are shared over a simple lunch of local foods.

Day 4: The Royal Mile and Bunyoro Heritage
You will spend the day along the Royal Mile, a historic trail where elders explain the kingdom’s heritage.
