Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi International Airport and transfer to the hotel

You will be picked by a driver tour guide and drive to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel for your lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will meet with your guide early morning after breakfast and drive to the base camp hotel for check-in and your lunch. you will then drive to Masai Mara National Reserve for an evening game drive. you will drive overland to the bottom of the Great Rift Valley and the iconic savannah wilderness alive with Masai people and wildlife living together in the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Masai Mara Game Reserve is characterized by vast acacia-dotted plains cut by ox-bow lakes and spectacular escarpments where the movie ‘Out of Africa’ was acted. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.

Day 3: Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast very early in the morning, you will drive in search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration. During game viewing remember to keep a sharp lookout, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree, or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River. The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking prey. You will then drive back to the camp for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

You will meet with your guide very early in the morning after breakfast with a packed lunch. you will drive and stop at Isebania a border between Kenya and Tanzania. You will then proceed to the park and check in to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. Serengeti National Park lies on a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands bordering Kenya in the north.

Day 5: Morning game drive in Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, expect to meet your tour guide and head for a morning game drive where you will have a chance to view several herbivores including wildebeest, zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, Hartebeest, and many more, predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterizes the Serengeti Plains, stretching across sun burnt Savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. Yet, after the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. And there are also wooded hills and towering termite mounds, rivers lined with fig trees and acacia woodland stained orange by dust. Drive back to the for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will head for a game drive within Serengeti National Park as you proceed to Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. The Ngorongoro crater is also the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and it’s the most stunning arena. You will then drive to the lodge for check-in, dinner, and a sleepover.

Day 7: Transfer to Arusha Fly to Entebbe International Airport and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will check out from the lodge after the morning breakfast and drive to Arusha. You will have a stopover and lunch in Arusha and later proceed to Entebbe International Airport. You will then drive to Bwindi’s impenetrable national park and the road trip is very scenic as you view the Kigezi highlands. you will have a stopover at the equator and have a chance to take beautiful memorable pictures. You will reach Rushaga sector and check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After an early breakfast, you will meet with your guide and head to the parks headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of tracking mountain gorillas and finally set off for an adventurous search of habituated mountain gorillas in the wild. This activity will last for 1-7 hours

Day 9: Batwa Cultural Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

After the morning breakfast, you will meet with your guide and head for a cultural experience with the Batwa. You will trek into the forest to a Batwa village and meet the community. You will learn about their lifestyle, past and present. They will invite you to their homes and you’ll see their traditional hunting techniques and craft-making skills. After this experience, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and check out. Embark on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi which will take 1-2 hour drive. You will check in to the lodge and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 10: Canoe and Nature Walk.

Expect to go canoeing after breakfast and have an opportunity to see some of the islands including the floating island and the punishment island where girls who got pregnant before marriage would be dumped and left to die. Lake Bunyonyi gets its name from the small birds that live in the area and it’s the deepest lake in Uganda. you will then drive back to the lodge for lunch. you will then go for a nature walk to enjoy the beautiful landscapes/scenery. Lake Bunyonyi area is green throughout the year with beautiful trees and vegetation which are worth exploring. You will also have a chance to view some bird species in Lake Bunyonyi. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 11: Return to Kampala to Catch Your Flight

After the early morning breakfast, you will meet with your guide to drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch in Mbarara and then visit the Igongo cultural center where you will have a chance to learn about the culture of the western people in Uganda. proceed to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight
