Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, a Gateway to the Giants

Your journey begins with a morning drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. Arriving around midday, you check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is known for its massive elephant herds and clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting. Lions, cheetahs, and countless plains game roam these open plains. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli for Iconic Landscapes & Wildlife

A full day in Amboseli gives you time to explore its diverse habitats and observe wildlife at your leisure. Morning and afternoon game drives offer opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife. If the skies are clear, Kilimanjaro provides a picture-perfect backdrop for your safari. Relax at your lodge between drives and enjoy dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Transfer from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, set off towards Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the heart of the Rift Valley. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through Nairobi and onwards to Naivasha. Arriving in the afternoon, you check in to your lodge and enjoy a boat ride on the lake to see hippos, birds, and scenic landscapes. Dinner and overnight by the lakeshore.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The journey takes you past rolling hills and local villages, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara, where you can spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. Dinner and overnight in the reserve.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara for Big Five & Great Migration (Seasonal).

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the vast plains teeming with wildlife, including chances to see the Big Five. If traveling during the migration season, you may encounter huge herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing rivers and plains. A picnic lunch is provided to maximize your time in the wild. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi - End of the Classic Safari

After breakfast and a short morning game drive, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya Classic Safari.
